Leading the way with scientific methodology, OPS provides athletic training programs for every age, gender, sport and skill level.
OPS programs are developed to help talented athletes reach elite status. Age-based levels form the basic framework, however each athlete is assessed and placed in the appropriate group regardless of age.
OPS utilizes a leading edge testing methodology with computerized force plates that provides a comprehensive evaluation.
Athletes also undergo a scientifically based Functional Movement Screen™ which identifies potential limitations or asymmetries that may impact quality of movement. This proven approach is in widespread use by professional sports organizations and provides a valuable scoring system for tracking progress.
Following comprehensive testing and assessments, each OPS athlete receives an individualized program to help him or her develop to the fullest extent.
At OPS, our certified/licensed athletic trainers specialize in helping athletes learn how to help prevent injuries and take care of their bodies. We offer injury prevention education programs for coaches, players and parents, so that everyone understands what it takes to stay healthy, especially during a season.
When injuries do occur, OPS is your connection to physical therapists and fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians from The Orthopedic Hospital and Fort Wayne Orthopedics. Following an injury, we provide training programs that help athletes bridge the gap between physical therapy and being prepared to return to full participation in their sport.
Our nutrition program provides OPS athletes, coaches and parents with the latest information on how to fuel and hydrate the body for peak performance. Learn how to give yourself a nutritional edge before, during and after games and practices to maximize your results.
Achieve your best fitness at any age with OPS adult workouts. Our personalized programs help you reach your goals:
