OPS will be the primary tenant of a new 99,900 sq. ft. medically-integrated health and fitness center on the campus of Dupont Hospital. Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2020, with doors opening in 2021.

The new home for OPS will be the premier facility of its kind in the region. The two-story complex, which will also include Fort Wayne Orthopedics offices, will include:
  • 24-hour adult fitness center open to the general public
  • Childcare for members
  • Technologically advanced strength and cardiovascular equipment
  • Four basketball courts
  • Indoor track
  • Group fitness training rooms
  • Athletic performance training center
  • Physical therapy/human performance lab
  • Teen lounge for OPS athletes
  • Restaurant with healthy food options
  • FWO offices

The new OPS complex will offer sports performance and exercise options for all ages and will also include close synergy with Fort Wayne Orthopedics on site. "Our vision is to create a state-of-the-art facilty and one-stop shop for athletes and their families," said Dr. Jason Russell, executive director of OPS. "This facility allows our sports medicine physicians to be in the same building as our physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches and sports nutritionists." The new complex will be the central location for OPS beginning when it opens in 2021. Our current location at the ASH Centre at 1701 Freeman St. will remain open, as well as OPS Warsaw at 701 Orthopedic Drive.
